Open the Effects Controls window. Use the pen tool to draw a mask on your video. The lassoed area will be the only part that shows the effect.
Turn On Right-click the clip and go to one of the Show Clip Keyframes options! Turn Off Click the wrench tool, then Show Video Keyframes (this is a toggle option, so if it’s off it’ll turn it on again, obviously).
